ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION​
Introduction
Sahana Social Development Alliance (SSDA) was established as Non-Government Organization in 2018 in Matara District., and have since expanded to Galle, Matara & Hambantota. SSDA started with a vision of Building an Empowered and Sustainable Developed Society through Developing Knowledge and Skills. SSDA has extensive experience working with various ethno-religious groups in the target area, and strong networks with a wide-range of local CBO, government, private, and other key actors. SSDA play the role as committee chairman of Peace & reconciliation committee of NGO consortium of Matara district. SSDA working with donors who Global Communities (USAID), IREX Sri Lanka, Child fund Sri Lanka (with UNICEF Funding), CDRI, Hashtag Generation. SSDA has a research unit and we are working with different organizations

Our History
Initially formed in 2018 , Sahana Social Development Alliance has since expanded to become a registered Non-Profit Organization. It is managed by volunteers who have teamed together with the shared goal of improving and bolstering the socioeconomic norms of rural communities Specially Southern Province in Sri Lanka.
Achievements
SSDA was awarded for the commitment and the Enormous Contribution of Deliver Effective Service Through an integratedMechanism Focusing on the Furtherance of the General Public of the Galle District at the Annual Performance Appraisal Ceremony 2022.(On 4th February 2023)
